Power2

About

We unleash the power of children and young people to improve their lives and the lives of others through mutually beneficial relationships.

Our programmes are designed to develop crucial life skills, improve confidence and boost self-esteem through mentoring and positive psychology.

Our programmes

Teens and Toddlers

Our programme is delivered on one morning or afternoon per week over 16 modules. We target young people at risk of not achieving their academic potential at a crucial stage of their lives.

Power2 programmes:

Rediscover

The programme provides 1:1 support to young people struggling with wellbeing, isolation, and engagement with school and learning. Our programme facilitators work with them for ten weeks to support them with these challenges, and any others they may be facing.

Thrive

This is a 16-week early intervention centred on principles of positive psychology. Young people on the programme are empowered to identify challenges, construct a plan to overcome them, recognise strengths and contribute to their local community.

Progress

This programme builds on the overarching Power2 principle that through helping others, young people experience life-changing benefits in school and in their personal lives.

Advance

This is our structured support programme for 16-25s, providing 1:1 mentoring, group workshops, and external opportunities, and the chance to become a Peer Mentor.

Aspire

A structured support programme for 18-25s previously in receipt of free school meals and with aspirations towards a professional career. The programme provides 1:1 support, group workshops focusing on employability skills, and external opportunities.
