The Bond Board
The Bond Board is a registered charity that has an impact on homelessness and the wellbeing of homeless and vulnerable private rented sector households.
We assist people who are homeless or threatened with losing their home to access private rented accommodation and maintain their tenancy.
We currently have a number of different solutions to help people access and maintain private rented accommodation in Rochdale and Bolton.
We provide Bond Guarantees in lieu of a cash deposit for private rented tenancies, along with a range of holistic support services in 1 to 1 and group settings.
We enable vulnerable, homeless households to get housed, maintain their new homes and maximise opportunities to achieve a brighter future.
Our services include:
- Written deposit guarantees
- Making the link - Support service
- Landlords - Advice and support
- Letting Out - Social letting agency
- Homeless advice and resilience project
Rachel and Robena are based at the Bond Board and give move-on support to those given Leave to Remain. We can also give advice and guidance to those still waiting for a decision on their Asylum claim.
We can help with benefit and housing applications, accessing English courses, opening a bank account, setting up utilities and understanding letters.
