Making Maths Magical

Young children are naturally curious and eager to learn about their surroundings and the world they live in, and they begin to learn about mathematics long before they start formal school. Young children construct their own understanding as they observe and participate in everyday life. There are many opportunities to enrich mathematical understanding throughout the day. This 6 week course will help you to identify those opportunities for your baby/toddler.

Dinosaur Roar

Children are naturally eager to explore and understand the world around them. They love to ask lots of questions and try to figure out how everything works. Introducing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at a young age supports their development through promoting curiosity, communication, persistence and problem solving. STEM is an area that fascinates children as they master learning through trial and error. In this 4 week course, discover, learn and explore with your child as you enter the world of dinosaurs.

Early English

Literacy is about more than learning to read and write. Being able to listen carefully and speak clearly about ideas is equally important. Reading with a child is the single most important thing you can do to help a child’s education, and research shows involvement in reading activities at home has significant positive influences.

Developing a child’s interest in reading also has a significant impact on their overall language skills. Join this 6 week course to find out how your child is learning literacy in school, and how you can support them at home.
