Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust
About
The Trust provides a wide range of more specialised mental health and 'outstanding' substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the North West of England and beyond.
What we do
We provide in-reach services to prisons across the north of England and secure mental health services for the North West of England.
We are proud to have one of only three national sites offering specialist mental health care for people who are deaf and an in-patient mother and baby unit that provides perinatal mental health care.
Staff work to improve lives with a culture based on five core values:
- We are caring and compassionate.
- We inspire hope.
- We work together.
- We value and respect.
- We are open and honest.
We are one of the most active research trusts in the UK, with one of the highest levels of recruitment to clinical trials for mental health. This puts our staff and service users at the leading edge of new mental health treatments.
