Apollo Sports Camp

A multi-sports camp that runs during the school holidays, held at Kingsway Park High School.

We are an inclusive sports camp that provides a range of sports and activities delivered by experienced and highly qualified coaches.

We focus on having fun, getting children active and developing a variety of skills; including teamwork, leadership and improving confidence.

We provide a leadership program for children aged 12+ to help support their transferable skill development.

During the spring and summer camps we have a water fight on a Thursday afternoon, that children love. This is optional.

Are your staff DBS checked?

Yes all our staff are fully Enhanced DBS checked.

What qualifications do your staff have?

Our coaches hold a range of qualifications, these range from:

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • A degree or working towards a degree in education or sport.
  • A variety of specialist coaching qualifications.
  • First aid trained.

How many coaches will be on camp?

We work off a ratio of children to staff.

Ages 5 to 6 will have ratio of one member of staff to eight children.

Ages 7 to 8 will have ratio of one member of staff to twelve children.

Ages 9 to 10 will have ratio of one member of staff to sixteen children.

Ages 11+ will have ratio of one member of staff to twenty children.

This is to ensure our younger campers get the attention and care they need, whilst the older ones have a little more independence.
