Dramatic Little Bookworms
About
Dramatic Little Bookworms is a storybook driven drama class, which aspires to create confident and articulate storytellers and performers.
Each week our Dramatic Little Bookworms will participate in a vocal and physical warm up in order to gain focus and concentration.
What we do
Our Dramatic Little Bookworms will be presented with a stimulus (word, image, sound or object) to interpret. This will allow the opportunity to develop their imagination, creativity, ideas and deepen their understanding of the chosen storybook, through exploring: themes, characters, situations, social messages, meaning and alternative outcomes through Drama techniques (role play, improvisation, hot seating, freeze frames and storytelling). Our sessions are suitable for children from 0 to 8 years old.
At the end of the 5/6 Week block our Dramatic Little Bookworms will showcase their performance in front of a small audience.
