Community Maternity Service - Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale

Antenatal workshops are delivered which include the following

• parent education
• hypnobirth
• aromatherapy
• acupuncture

Postnatal care of the mother and baby includes breastfeeding support groups and further smoking cessation support.

Community midwives also offer advice and support for women who choose to have their babies at home. Contact your community midwife via the office at Rochdale Infirmary for further information.

Northern Care Alliance (NCA) is an NHS service providing a single point of access for all maternity referrals in the Rochdale Oldham area. The aim is to make sure you have access to the right care from day one.
