Redcar and Cleveland Library Service aims to provide a comprehensive, efficient and modern library service to all who live, work and study in the Borough by: Providing a Branch Library or Mobile Library Stop within easy reach of every household. Providing all library users with access to a good, well-balanced stock in all formats, including books, sound recordings and DVD's. Information on all subjects. Ensuring all our libraries are safe, friendly, welcoming and fully accessible to all members of the public. To provide a high quality, responsive service to children and young people of Redcar and Cleveland, which actively seeks to meet their needs, whatever their age or stage of development by providing books, information and support from friendly, trained staff. FREE Public access to IT and the internet in all libraries.
Also at Skelton Library: Skelton History Group runs the second Friday of every month 1.30pm - 4pm.
Skelton Library also run drop in sessions for under 5's:
Tiny Tunes Rhyme time drop in session Tuesday mornings 10.00 - 10.45am (for children aged 0-5yrs). Adult supervision is required.
Also on Thursdays - 1.30pm-2.30pm stories and crafts (0-12 yrs, adult supervision required).
