ReadiFood (FAITH) Foodbank
This service is run by Reading FAITH Christian Group and have been providing emergency food parcels for over 25 years.
Food parcels can only be given to people who have been referred. If you are in need yourself of a food parcel, but have no contact with Reading Borough Council, Social Services, the Job Centre or other professional body/agency, contact ReadiFood and they will point you in the right direction. Must be referred.

Referring a client
ReadiFood is a "by referral only" service
(People cannot call us or call in to the office on their own behalf)
PLEASE
Do NOT send clients to us - unless you have an agreed arrangement with us
Do NOT give them our phone number. Call us yourself.
We do not issue vouchers.
We can help your client up to four weeks, but rely on you to assess the validity of need.
We will happily deliver to your office or to the client's home address if in the Greater Reading area.
We have arrangements for :-
Caversham, Emmer Green, Peppard, Purley, Pangbourne, Theale, Burghfield, Mortimer, Shinfield, Lower Earley, Woodley and Winnersh.
There are a number of agencies who keep stocks of parcels to pass on directly to clients.
We also take into account - vegetarian, Halal, diabetic, allergies and add in toiletries if requested and nappies for people with babies.
