Prince's Trust ~ Courses available in Thames Valley

The Prince’s Trust in Thames Valley has lots of exciting programmes coming up for young people aged 16 to 30 .

Get Started as an Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) or Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) with South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS)

We’re looking for the next generation of people to join South Central Ambulance Service. During this 3-day online programme (via MS Teams), young people will have the opportunity to interact with SCAS, learn about the ECA & ACA roles, and prepare their CV and interview skills. On the third day of the programme, SCAS will hold mock interviews and provide participants with feedback. After completing the programme, young people will receive guidance with next steps including the C1 process, submitting their CV and interviewing for their desired role. There is also the opportunity for further Prince’s Trust support, including development awards, mental health support through MYNDUP, and mentoring.

Enterprise- 18-30s (online)

Got a business idea? Join our 4-day online Explore Enterprise training course and upon completion, get a year’s Business mentor support to help grow and develop your business idea, and launch as a Prince’s Trust Supported Business. Small grant funding is available to support you to test trade your business idea, and we will support you to explore a Business loan.

Development Awards- 16-25s (online)

Unemployed with a financial barrier to a training, education or employment outcome? Our cash grants of up to £500 could help a young person achieve their goals! Contact us to request an assessment with our Development Award Lead who will chat to the young person about their goals, the financial barriers they are facing, and look at how the Trust can help. Applications can take up to 8 weeks and the average Award given is £160.
