1: How does the setting identify children with additional needs or SEND?
I observe the children in my care during the day, talking to parents about any çoncerns that they might have, I use tracker books and give details on there development, or can set a wasap group for parents if required, if I need any advice I will ask professionals for advice.
2: How will I be informed / consulted about the ways in which my child is being supported?
I will work closely with the necessary professionals to support any child in my care.
I will keep families informed about the children progress,this will be done through monitoring and observations.
3: How will the setting adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for my child's needs?
I do my planning based on each individual child in my setting, my goal is to set next steps to bring the children on to there next stage.
4: What teaching strategies does the setting use for children with additional needs or learning difficulties?
Activities are done each child's individual needs, will adapt depending on the child's development, may need to seek advice from other professionals.
5: What additional support does the setting provide for children with additional needs or SEND?
I am willing to attend extra training courses and work with local professionals and Early years team to give as much support to the children in my setting.
6: How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?
I monitor the children using early years outcome, this will be done through observations /next steps/two year check,share daily information daily with parents.
9: How will you support my child's transition to a new setting or school?
I will be happy to visit a new setting with children (with the permission of parents) to share information relevant to the child's needs.
10: How does the setting assess the overall effectiveness of its SEN provision and how can parents / carers take part in this evaluation?
Ask parents to complete questionnaire to give feedback about my work and setting.
Undergo statuary Ofsted inspection.

In the event of a complaint,I ask parents to put it in writing and it will be addressed within 28 days as Policy's state . Parents are required to acknowledge all policy's when signing to my setting.
