Guide Dogs - My Guide - Training and Support to get out and about

We provide training to help people have a better understanding of what it means to live with sight loss. Training sessions are usually run in partnership with local NHS/Hospital services.

You can download the information leaflet (PDF accessible) which provides more information.

We are also offering a volunteer led sighted guide service.  My Guide is a free service that helps people with a vision impairment get out of their homes and into the community with a volunteer as their sighted guide.

My Guide helps to build self-confidence, increase social interaction and be part of the community.  To find out more contact the Guide Dogs Reading Mobility Team.  Telephone: 0345 1430224 Email: reading@guidedogs.org.uk or you can visit the My Guide section of the Guide Dogs website Click Here
