Adult Day Activity Service
Reading Mencap’s ME (Mencap Enables) Day Activity Service currently offers two separate services running from 3 venues.
The people who attend the day services choose the activities they would like to do.
A varied range of activities are offered including crafting, cooking, gardening, sports such as tag rugby and tennis, dance, singing. The groups also make use of Reading Mencap's minibus and get out and about in the community.
Personal care is offered at Alexandra Road, where there is a fully equipped changing place.
The services run
- ME1: Tuesday to Friday from 9.30am - 4.30pm at 21 Alexandra Road, Reading RG1 5PE
- ME2: Wednesday to Friday from 9.30am - 4.30pm at St Paul's Church Hall, Whitley Wood Lane, Reading RG2 8PN
- ME2: Monday from 9.30am - 4.30pm at 21 Alexandra Road, Reading RG1 5PE
- ME2: Tuesdays from 9.30am - 4.30pm at Abbey Baptist Church, Reading RG1 3BE
