Food4Families Reading, encourages healthy eating and lifestyle, they offer courses on cooking and growing your own food, also develop community gardens with the support of local residents. Visit their website to find out more.

National organisations for healthy eating.

Healthy Start Voucher ~ you get free vouchers every week to spend on milk, plain fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables, and infant formula milk. You can also get free vitamins. Available if you are pregnant or have children under the age of four?  You could qualify if you're on benefits, or if you're pregnant and under 18. There are lots of delicious things you can make with the milk, fruit and veg you buy with your Healthy Start vouchers. Remember if you can’t find the fresh fruit and veg you need for a recipe why not try frozen?
