Dad Info has been developed in partnership with Fathers Direct and aims to give all UK fathers access to all the information they'll need, from the moment they discover they are going to become a father until their children are grown up and having children of their own. Dad Info wants to make sure that all the best resources for dads on the internet are available through the links on the Dad Info website.

Fatherhood Institute is the national information centre on fatherhood to help harness the full potential of fatherhood with news, training information, policy updates, research summaries and guides for supporting fathers and their families. Becoming Dad is our new guide for expectant and new fathers, launched in November 2021 by the Fatherhood Institute and Mental Health Foundation. Family Lives charity supporting parents and families with all aspects of family lives, they also have a Parent Helpline.

Acas - gives employees and employers free, impartial advice on workplace rights, rules and best practice. Which includes information for parents on maternity and paternity leave, pay and parental leave https://www.acas.org.uk/maternity-paternity-and-adoption-leave-and-pay

A local Children's Centre is a place where families can access a range of local services for their community. Activities are open to male carers.

 

Separation / Lone Parent

Families Need Fathers charity for dads, mums and grandparents who want to still have a relationship with their children after parental separation.

Only Dads provide information for single dads. If you have recently become a single parent or if you have been one for years, or indeed you are on the verge of separating, you will find this website an invaluable resource. If you can't find the information you need, please do contact Only Dads who will try their best to point you in the right direction.

Gingerbread provides information and advice to single parents on a wide range of issues, including benefits, both online and through a telephone helpline.
