Flying High Playscheme (Short Break)

Flying High logo

RBWM’s Children and Young People Disability Service provides the Flying High specialist playscheme during the school holidays for children and young people aged 5-18yrs with special educational needs and disabilities.  Flying High is for children and young people who may find it difficult to attend a mainstream playscheme.

The playscheme offers a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, street dance sessions, cooking, swimming and a sensory room and off site trips to local centres including Camp Mohawk, Legoland and Thames Valley Adventure Playground.

Flying High runs in each of the school holidays including half terms.  Half day sessions and full days sessions are available.  Dates and times of the playscheme are sent to parents/carers directly before each playscheme. Families need to book prior to each school holiday.

Here are some of the things young people at Flying High wanted to say to people thinking about coming to the group..

  • You should go, you’ll enjoy it
  • Flying High is ecstatic
  • Come to Flying High -it’s amazing
  • Come and join us
  • Come to Flying High, it’s fun

To read more about young people's experiences of Flying High, please see the Flying High Feedback.
