Poole Family Information Service

Poole Family Information Service (FIS) is a free, impartial and confidential service for parents and carers of children and young people (0-19 years, 24 years if the young person has a disability).

Information, guidance and assistance is offered on:

  • Childcare (Ofsted registered)
  • Activities
  • Family Services

The service is accessible through:

  • Helpline 01202 261999
  • On-line Family Information Directory (FID)
  • Outreach within Poole communities
  • Brokerage - 1 on 1 support for parents to overcome barriers to childcare
  • Welcome area - above the central library in the Dolphin Centre
  • Publicity and Marketing materials on a wide range of topics

The FIS provides universal information on behalf of Poole Children's Centres and works in partnership with Children's Trust agencies to provide an intergrated delivery of Poole services for families.
