Dorset Action On Abuse

Dorset Action on Abuse (DAA) provides an individual counselling service and self help groups for adult survivors of child abuse. We offer this support for male and female survivors of all types of abuse; sexual, physical, emotional and neglect. Counselling is offered on a weekly basis for a period of up to 12 months, dependant on the needs of the client. The service is free, although clients are asked to make an anonymous donation at each session, according to their means. Service users are required to travel to Parkstone or Dorchester for counselling. Unfortunately we cannot offer assistance with travel.
