Children in Care - Children and Young People's Social Care
The Children in Care Team support children and their families where because of illness in the family, behavioural difficulties with the young person or a situation in which they are not receiving basic care or protection they may need to be looked after by the local authority. Each child’s needs are considered carefully. They may stay with foster carers on a short term basis, they may move to a longer term placement with a foster family or a residential home, or other appropriate provision.
