SEN Inclusion Support Service (SENISS)
SENISS is a small team of specialist teachers who support and advise schools in the identification and teaching of children with the more frequently occurring needs. This includes specific difficulties with literacy, numeracy or language as well as general learning difficulties.
SENISS teachers carry out specialist assessments and work with the school staff to plan intervention programmes. They also teach some children for short targeted periods. SENISS also provides training for school staff.
