Why come to Poole Short Breaks We have different activities to choose from such as arts and crafts, activity days (on the beach in the summer!), swimming, archery, gym & trampolining, watersports etc. You can have a say about the sort of activities you would like to do in the future. Poole Short Breaks also provides funding for other organisations to provide activities for Poole children and young people. See the Short Breaks leaflet under 'downloads' for more information. Term time activities Some activities are provided during term time: Tuesdays Fortnightly soft play sessions at Lemur Landings (Tower Park) between 6.15pm and 8.15pm. This is a family session which you can access with your brothers and sisters. However you must be accompanied by an adult. Contact us for further information about obtaining a membership card for this session. Sundays A weekly family swim session at Montacute School Pool from 10.00 am until 12 noon. Holiday activities A variety of fun activities are held during the school holidays, including gym and trampolining sessions for 0-8’s and activities for children and young people aged 8-19. These are held at different youth centres/venues depending upon the activity. Despite Government cuts we have continued to develop our Short Breaks holiday programme and to commission short breaks delivered by other providers. We know this support is valued by families and gives children and young people the opportunity to enjoy different experiences, make friends and develop their skills.
