Provide care and offer a range of play opportunities for children aged 5-14 years after school hours. Children under 8 must be escorted to and from the club by a scheme worker, parent or other person nominated by the parent. Some clubs are run by private organisations and are registered with Ofsted, others are run by the school and are covered by their school inspection.
