Dear Providers, the information below contains current and up to date information from our strategic partners for you and your staff:
New and updated guidance and support, including information on funding:
Adult social care: Our COVID-19 winter plan 2020 to 2021
The Winter Plan sets out the key elements of national support available for the social care sector for winter 2020 to 2021, as well as the main actions to take for local authorities, NHS organisations, and social care providers, including in the voluntary and community sector.
Working together will ensure that high-quality, safe and timely care is provided to everyone who needs it, whilst protecting people who need care, their carers and the social care workforce from COVID-19. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/adult-social-care-coronavirus-covid-19-winter-plan-2020-to-2021/adult-social-care-our-covid-19-winter-plan-2020-to-2021
Next Steps for the Infection Control Grant – Nottinghamshire County Council Providers
If you have previously completed the online form to receive the Infection Control Grant for your establishments, you should already have received the information below:
Within the conditions of the grant you need to confirm to us (The council) how much of the grant you have spent in each of the grant categories between 13th May 2020 and 23rd September 2020 by home/establishment.
Please can all care homes who have received the ICF do this by completing the following online form by this Friday, 25th September 2020.
You do not need to submit evidence of spend with this form, but you will need to keep all your receipts/evidence of spend in case it is required at a later date for audit.
Given last week’s announcement about the extension of the Infection Control Fund, we are not currently asking you to return any unspent money as we are waiting for further guidance. So we’ll be in touch with any establishment who has not fully spent the grant so far, when we have more information.
Guidance for care homes regarding non-collection of test kits
