I want to find out more about becoming a PA

A Personal Assistant (also known as a PA) is employed by a person who needs care and support to help them live as independently as possible.

If you choose to become a PA you may work with people who need care and support because they are physically disabled, learning disabled or have mental health issues.  You could work for a parent who is employing a PA to help support a child under the age of 18.

When people are looking for a PA they tend to want someone who is a good personal match. It’s not all about previous experience or qualifications. Training can be given if the PA needs it for the job.

Anyone can be a personal assistant if they enjoy helping people live their lives in the way they choose and can build a strong, trusting bond with their employer.
