Welcome to the Personal Assistant Finder

The well established North Lincolnshire Personal Assistant Finder has been available via the council website for the past year. This free service can now be accessed from the North Lincolnshire Homepage of Connect to Support

We hope that by offering the service via Connect to Support more people will be able to access the Personal Assistant Finder and make an informed choice by comparing the services offered by care providers and the potential advantages of employing their own Personal Assistant.

A Personal Assistant is someone who is employed directly by a person who needs support to enable them to live their life as fully and independently as possible.

A Personal Assistant may support with many aspects of their employer's life, for example, provide personal care and also assist the person to meet their friends, go to work and participate in community activities.

We have also produced a P A Handbook with five sections packed with helpful information and advice. This handbook is also an essential reference guide for council staff who may need to advise customers on the pros and cons of employing a Personal Assistant.

Registering on the site is easy.

If you are looking to employ a Personal Assistant it will help you to find and recruit the right Personal Assistant (PA) for you. You can also register with this site and post your own job listing.

If you want to work as a Personal Assistant, you can register and place an advert highlighting your skills to help you find employment. You can also browse the list of current job adverts.
