What is a Personal Assistant?

A Personal Assistant is someone who is employed directly by a person who needs support to enable them to live their life as full and independently as possible.

A Personal Assistant may support in many aspects of their employer's life. For example, they may provide personal care and also assist the person to go meet their friends, go to work and participate in community life.
