Beamworks
Beamworks provide fully interactive music and visual sessions for children in there own homes using a variety of accessible music technology, Soundbeam movement sensors and traditional instruments. Free advice is available on suitable equipment for individuals to work with in there own time or with family members.
Beamworks is led by Stuart Freeland who has completed research into the use of music technology in community music and performance/composition. Since 2000 Stuart has designed, developed and delivered music and media workshops and one to one sessions for various organisations.
Having worked with children with varied physical and learning difficulties for over 10 years Stuart has developed a great deal of knowledge and understanding of what can be achieved in the sessions.
Within these sessions we respond to the users interests and surroundings, ensuring that every experience is personal and unique. 1-1 lessons using the soundbeam equipment are available, or fully interactive sensory sessions may be deemed appropriate for those with more complex needs.
The overall aim of these sessions is to bring out the best in individuals allowing their creative ideas to be realised in a fun and exciting way.
Beamworks mission is to extent reach, not grow our savings, therefore our rates are reasonable and in line with other professional practioners.
