Your Own Place CIC

Your Own Place is a social enterprise.  We work with 16-25 year olds to equip young people with the skills, confidence and knowledge to live safely and securely. We do this through budgeting help, understanding bills, debt, how you can afford the rent, different housing options and loads more.  We achieve this by continually developing innovative and entrepreneurial solutions as well as collaborating for the benefit of our young people. By working restoratively and delivering high quality interventions we create a culture of empowered and independent young people.  We also provide Volunteer Tenancy Mentors and Employment Support.

Additional Information

We support young people from all backgrounds with the aim of them holding on to their home when they get it.  This may be students, young people leaving care or just leaving home for the first time.  There's lots to think about and we can help with budgeting and understanding their options and being ready to make the most of them.
