An informal friendly support group providing information, social contact and befriending for all adult patients including carers. The Pulham Surgery Support Group is run by people wanting to help support each other as well as themselves. It has been meeting for over 20 years and many of the 20 volunteers have been coming for a very long time. Average attendance is about 25 each month. We invite speakers, share knowledge and information and work with Patient Participation Groups when we can. The top priorities are to do what we can to improve communication, reduce isolation and have a little fun.
The support group is open to anyone seeking friendship, support, health and social care information, including Carers, the cared for, those without carers, the isolated or vulnerable. As well as anyone interested in promoting health & wellbeing for all, especially carers.
The support group meets on the third Tuesday of each month at Pulham Market Memorial Hall between 2 p.m – 4 p.m.
