Life Science Centre
The International Centre for Life is a Science Village in the heart of Newcastle, offering children young people and adults the chance to explore and get stuck into Science! From a Planetarium to and Experiment Zone and even a 4d Motion Ride it is a great family day out.

Our autism-friendly hours are 9.30am – 11.00am. You are welcome to stay until we close at 6.00pm if you wish but please note that our normal programme, lighting and sound levels will resume from 11.00am.

Are you a carer?
Carers are granted free admission to Life Science Centre. If you're booking online, please add a free Carer ticket to your basket and bring some proof of entitlement such as a letter showing that you receive support, or a Companion card, a Children and Young People's Network Card, or similar.

The Life Centre prides itself on being inclusive, the centre is wheelchair friendly and they provide free admission for carers. They have facilities for people with hearing impairments and visual impairments and if contacted can provide more information on how the day can be made enjoyable for anyone with additional needs.
