Barnardos' SECOS
SECOS engages and works directly with young people who are vulnerable, at risk of or involved in sexual exploitation, to develop exit and recovery strategies in order to protect and promote physical, emotional, and sexual health well-being.
We seek to develop intelligence about sexual exploitation, including new areas of activity, (internet & trafficking) informing, influencing and campaigning on these issues locally, regionally and nationally.
SECOS focuses on the safeguarding needs of abused children and vulnerable adults by providing counselling, signposting, advice and support around child protection and health issues including substance misuse.
We also provide floating support and outreach services to young people residing in TS4 flats, bed and breakfast housing, and provide emergency accommodation to vulnerable 16 to 17 year olds who identify as homeless.
