Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is the leading charity offering information, support and advice to almost two million people with sight loss, their friends, family and carers.

Through our website and Helpline, we offer:

• advice about living independently and making the most of your sight
• eye health information
• emotional support
• help to get you the benefits you are entitled to
• advice about your rights and dealing with discrimination
• grants for household items
• access to our National Library Service
• over 1,000 products and publications through our shop
• links to voluntary groups and social services that can support you and your family

We run schools and a college which help blind, partially sighted and multiply disabled children and young people learn a range of skills, and we also provide residential care homes for older people with sight problems.
