Chiltern Academy

The school opened in 2018 in temporary facilities and we moved into our brand new building on Gipsy Lane a year later where we have excellent facilities and up to date equipment to support our pupils in their learning.

We currently have four year groups with a cohort of 930 students and aspire to reach our capacity of 1200 within five years of opening. Our success within our first year is well noted within the community and is reflected in our lengthy waiting list for our second year.

As a new school, the students will benefit from an outstanding working environment which will provide a comfortable and enjoyable place to learn, supported by the very latest technologies.

It is the Trust’s aim to make this an ‘Outstanding’ school for the Luton community and the new school will have strong links with local businesses, providing additional enrichment and vocational opportunities for its students.
