CYCD Access Disability Project

Who do we support?

Children/young adults with SEND.

What can you expect from us?

We run a SEND club called access disability project (ADP) which provides a weekly respite care service for families with SEND children/young adults.

Our services run during all school holidays and we have a 3 week summer holiday club.

Times

  • Ages 6 -11 Wednesdays 4.30 – 6.30pm
  • Ages 11 – 18 Saturdays 2.30 – 5.30pm
  • Ages 18 – 25 Fridays 5.30 – 8.00m

We also provide transport to and from the club in our 14 seat capacity minibus.

How to get involved with the service

An Initial assessment is needed to see if we can provide the support the child/young person needs for our weekly clubs.

Contact us for further information.

What happens after the Service has been involved?

Ongoing weekly respite care through our Access Disability Project.

What can you do if you feel this service doesn’t meet your needs?

Search the Local Offer for other SEN Support Services, click on the pink ‘specific areas of need’ tiles on the home page or the ‘if you have concerns’ pathway.

Get in touch with the Special Educational Needs Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIAS). This team will be able talk with you about your concerns and can help you find information and support.
