The SEND Team coordinates the EHC needs assessment process for children and young people age 0 – 25 years and, where appropriate, their placement in specialist provision.

Anybody can make a request for an EHC Needs Assessment. There are request forms for educational settings, professionals and another for parents/young people.

- Experience
The SEND Team have experience with supporting families, children/young people with a varying degree of SEND that have required support and intervention above that which can be provided in an educational setting.

- Training details
All Staff have undertaken Safeguarding training. The Children's Services Team Manager for SEND, SEND Team Managers and SEND Practice Supervisors have experience in either Education or SEND related Social Care.
