Centre for Studies on Inclusive Education (CSIE)
The Centre for Studies on Inclusive Education (CSIE) is an independent centre, set up in 1982, actively supporting inclusive education as a human right of every child.
Most of our activities straddle a number of the following categories but we trust that this representation offers a clear description of what we do.
- lobbying & campaigning for inclusion
- conducting research on inclusive education
- supporting inclusive development in schools and other educational settings
- creating and utilizing networking opportunities
CSIE produces and distributes a wide range of resources for a diverse audience. Browse through these pages for more information on a variety of materials including books and other publications to inform and support inclusive school development, audio tapes featuring examples of inclusion in action, information on current law and practice, discussion papers, posters, postcards and more.
