Share your experience of transferring your child from primary to secondary school
Are you a parent/carer with a child with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who has experienced transferring from primary to secondary school?
Parentsactive has written a survey in partnership with the Inclusion and Specialist Outreach service. They are looking at the experiences of children with SEND and their families as they move from primary to secondary school. This survey is part of Parentsactive's work with schools and families to co-produce resources which with the aim of improving the transfer service. We really value your feedback. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey.
The survey is anonymous, but if you would like to share your details please do so at the end of the survey. It should not take longer than 10 minutes to complete.
Parentsactive will then follow up with a training on the 'Education journey of your child' on 8th March at The Stephen Wiltshire Centre delivered by Alison Leao and Andrea Boswell of the Inclusion and Specialist Outreach service. They are also offering parents further training on 'What support around SEN in schools means and what you can expect' in June.
For more details on the survey and training, or if you have any other questions, please contact Nandini at firstname.lastname@example.org.
