Our Children's Centre is part of a nationwide programme of services for 0-5 year olds and their families. Our aim is to offer information, advice and support to parents, as well as integrated childcare and early learning, health services, family support and parental outreach.
Midwife Clinic
Our Children's Centre has antenatal midwife clinics where parents to be are monitored throughout their pregnancy by our Community Midwives. These are run on an appointment only basis. Please contact your midwife for an appointment.
Healthy Child Clinic (Drop-in)
2nd & 4th Tuesday: 12:30pm - 2:30pm
(Please arrive before 2:30pm to avoid disappointment)
Healthy Child Clinic offer you the opportunity to drop in and see your local health visiting team who will be able to offer you support and advice. They will also be able to weigh your baby or child. To speak to a Health Visitor, please call: 0300 123 2075
Development Checks
At the ages of around 1 year and 2 years parents will receive a letter inviting them to a development check with their health visitor. These clinics are run on an appointment basis only.
Healthy Start Vitamins
Children's Centres are able to process Healthy Start Vitamin vouchers. Please call 03000 411049 for further information and guidance.
Free Childcare
All 3 and 4 year olds and some 2 year old’s are entitled to a certain amount of free early education and childcare. To see if your child is eligible, please click here.
