Rushia's Childminding 

I offer a home from home care in a spacious and clean family home with a beautiful and fun garden. The little ones have a relaxing playtime and spontaneous 1:2:1 attention as I do not take before or after school children.

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to assess and plan for children's individual needs and interest through fun and play based activities but most importantly I pay particular focus on children building a secure and trusting bond with me through warm and loving care and attention through which they later confidently explore their environment.

A range of toys and activities to suit children’s interests are always on offer including sensory play, heuristic play, treasure baskets. The garden is well equiped including a mud kitchen, sand tray, water tray, mini trampoline and maybe a playhouse in the future. I am lucky enough to have a newly built playground just behind my house and live next to the Regents Canal which children use regularly for play and walks.

We have scheduled visits to Finsbury Library's rhyme time and Islington Museum for messy play. I regularly attend the BrightStart run stay and play groups where children become fimiliar with staff and other childminders, this gives them plenty of opportunity to build on their social skills, confidence and make lots of friends.

As well as being Ofsted registered, I work in partnership with  Islington Council and get supported by the  Childminding Coordinators to ensure I maintain best practice and outcome for the children.

I am based on Dame Street N1 7FR. It is on a quiet road so has easy parking for quick drop off/collection. Non-smoking household. We have two friendly cats, Leela and Crash.
