Manor Gardens Welfare Trust

Manor Gardens’ vision is to build strong communities where all people have good health, resilience and opportunity. Across our services staff, we speak 17 additional languages other than English: Albanian, Amharic, Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tamil, Tigrinya and Turkish. We also have a broad team of volunteers who speak a number of additional languages. Our work is focused on the following 3 main strands:

Early intervention and prevention

  • We prevent the escalation and deepening complexity of difficulties experienced by people which impact upon their life opportunities, health and wellbeing.

Community-driven approaches

  • We understand and work alongside people to develop our work and expertise in person-centred interventions for divers communities from childhood to adulthood.

Learning and Development

  • We inform and develop our work and influence to effect wider system change and practice and create a greater impact.

We support people to live well from birth through life to active ageing. We continue to work with people of all ages and all communities, focusing on those who experience barriers and difficulties in accessing support and services.
