BEACONS is an innovative solution which makes Barclays staff aware when a customer with an accessibility need enters the branch. It ensures the customer is treated fairly by providing assistance or services which cater to their needs. It works in tandem with the Customers Apple iPhone by sending a notification to satff in the branch and provides the customers name, accessibility need and picture. This notification allows staff to make appropriate adjustments to ensure that the customer is treated fairly.
