The council does not capture and/or store your personal information when you access our website unless you agree to give us your personal details by email or online form.

Information obtained in this way will be held securely, only be used for the purposes indicated and will not be kept for longer than necessary.

Information about your visit and cookies

Our website automatically logs some information about your visit such as your IP address, browser type and the length of your visit. Some pages also use cookies which help us to personalise certain pages on your return visit. This information does not contain personal data and can not be traced back to you.

Advertising events on our event's diary

You may submit an event for publication on our events diary as long as you follow the advice below -

• submitted events must be located within Hull and the East of Yorkshire and take place within the next 12 months
• accompanying graphics must be free from copyright issues or other restrictions

Please note that submission of an event does not guarantee that it will be published on this website. The council reserves the right to exclude any event without the need to give a reason for doing so.

Our branding

The council's Armorial Bearings (the Three Crowns) is protected by the Kingston upon Hull Act 1984. You would need the council's prior written permission to use these and the names "Kingston upon Hull City Council" and "Hull City Council".
