Celebration of Careers Event

Thursday 30 May Drop in 10am - 12 noon

Description:

Leaving school or college and thinking about an apprenticeship? Looking for a career change?

Whether you are looking at your next step after leaving school/college, thinking about a change in career, or are a parent or carer wanting to understand what an apprenticeship with Hull City Council can offer your son or daughter, this event will help answer your questions.

Our aspiration is to employ 100 new apprentices at any one time.

Apprenticeships can be a great way for school or college leavers to continue education in a working environment, or for adults looking to return to work or change career.

An apprenticeship with us will open a door to a career you might not even have thought of - we'll support you to get there.

  • Come along and meet department representatives and find out about the apprenticeships they offer and what it’s like to work there. They will be able to answer any questions or queries you may have.
  • Departments include:-

Housing & Neighbourhoods,
Children, Young People and Family Services,
Catering, Parks and Gardens,
City Regeneration and Policy
and more.

  • Opportunity to apply for current vacancies at the event.
  • No need to book - just drop in to the event between 10am and 12 noon.
