Free outdoor fitness

Junior parkrun

Join other parkrunners in Hounslow each week for a 2k run.  These runs are suitable for 4-14 year old’s and take place in Hanworth Park and Osterley Park.  If you are aged 15 and over, Parkrun also takes place at other parks within Hounslow, For more information, visit

Outdoor gyms

Outdoor gyms are suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, you don't need any experience to use them and they are completely free to use. Find your local outdoor gym

Our Parks fitness sessions

Our Parks run free classes in Hanworth Park and Redlees Park. Classes are suitable for a range of abilities and run by fully qualified instructors.

You must be aged 16 or over to attend a class without an adult.  If you are under 16 but wanting to attend unaccompanied, you must have your legal guardian's permission. For more information, visit

Hounslow has 11 libraries across the borough with services especially for teenagers such as:

Leisure Centres

Fancy a swim, a game of badminton, a run on a treadmill or some weightlifting?  There are 6 leisure centres within Hounslow and many of them offer junior gym sessions especially for young people. See what's on at your local centre

Young adults with SEND aged 16-25

The Hounslow Local Offer provides information on leisure activities that are directed specifically for young people with SEND.
