Local Activities

Lots of activities in the borough are welcoming to children with additional needs and can be expected to make reasonable adjustments..

These are some that are accessible.

1 o'clock club daily playgroup at Redlees fully inclusive play centre with sensory room.  Open to all.

Reflections - after school clubs, holiday play scheme and other activities for children from age 5.

Hounslow Toy Library - a welcoming drop in for families with young children with additional needs and siblings -- Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon

Young People and adults

Community Access Service

For young people and adults over 18 a range of community based activities and projects for residents with mild to moderate learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions.

Triangle centre

The Triangle Resource Centre offers a range of activities, social and leisure time to adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs, including physical disabilities and autism.- It also offers day care.


Tiny Tots - play session for children with disabilities 

Westbrook Overnight respite, Holiday sessions - referral from Social Work team for Children with disabilities.

Shooting Star Chase hospice

From babies to young people up to the age of 21, we support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

Receiving hospice care does not mean that a child’s death is imminent – in fact many who visit are living active lives but wish to have some time in a supportive, caring environment.
