Who is eligible for help from social care?

If you need community care services, because of disability or infirmity, or poor mental health, you may be entitled to an assessment of your needs, which will be matched against national 'fair access to care' criteria.

If you are not eligible, whatever your situation, we will still be able to offer guidance and information on support that you may want to provide for yourself. The Adult Helpdesk can carry out an initial assessment for you over the telephone.
