National Autistic Society Community Support Services

Provider: National Autistic Society

The National Autistic Society is extending it's West of England Community Support Services to include Gloucestershire.  The flexible Outreach service will help people with autism become more independent in all aspects of their lives.  Support can be provided for adults with Asperger syndrome in various settings: at home, at work, in the community, at college or university.  We can support people with autism with developing independent living skills, managing money and individual budgets, developing social skills, using local leisure facilities, going shopping, succeeding at college, overcoming difficulties at work, using public transport.  All our staff receive high level autism specific training, and the home care service is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
