Are you stressed, anxious or depressed? We can help.
Our service is part of the Gloucestershire 2gether NHS Foundation Trust Mental Health Intermediate Care Team, which offers nursing and therapy in primary care to people older than 18 in Gloucestershire, with depression and/or anxiety.
We can assess and treat:
- Perinatal Depression
- Panic Disorder
- Generalised Anxiety Disorder
- Social Anxiety
- Health Anxiety
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Our service works best for people with mild to moderate and sometimes chronic problems where there is no significant risk. We also with people with long term physical conditions with anxiety and/or depression.
The service will deliver interventions that are guided by NICE (the National Institute of Clinical Excellence).
Information and low intensity cognitive behavioural (CBT) guidance is offered by telephone, home computer or through attendance at a course and supported by material available through local libraries and the Let’s Talk website.
More intensive therapy (usually CBT but also EMDR, Mindfulness and other approaches) can also be offered if the lower intensity programme is not sufficient.
