Laurence-Moon-Bardet-Biedl Society

We are the only UK registered charity supporting people with Bardet-Biedl Syndrome.

As well as supporting people with Laurence-Moon-Bardet-Biedl Syndrome, their families and Carers, we also provide information for them and the medical and other professions.

Our annual family day conference enables people with the syndrome, family and friends to meet with interested professionals to discuss matters relating to the syndrome.

Associate membership is open to those who are interested in furthering the work of the Society.

The aims of our Charity are:

  • To preserve and protect the health and promote the welfare of persons living with BBS
  • To advance the education of the medical and educational professionals and the general public on the subject of BBS.
