About Social Care

What can you expect from social care?

Adult social care services are designed to support people to stay healthy, maintain independence and have choice and control over their lives.

Your Circle is the name for Gloucestershire's more flexible and personal approach to adult social care services. By putting the individual at the heart of everything, people are helped to develop their personal support network of trusted people, places and services, allowing more choice and control over their care and support. Each component of Your Circle makes an important contribution to the individual's care and support plan.

In time, the Your Circle symbol will also help you identify where to find information and support.
