If you are concerned about your child's development, the Child Development Team are responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and supporting, children with developmental difficulties, mostly usually those under 5 years old but also older children in some circumstances.
The Child Development team includes paediatricians, clinical nurse specialists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, audiologists, special school nurses and specialist community nurses. The CDT is part of ESCAN (Ealing Services for Children with Additional Needs) and based at Carmelita House at Ealing Broadway. Clinics are run at different locations across Ealing, including Carmelita House, Acton Health Centre, Featherstone Road Health Centre and many nurseries and schools.
